I am a fine art photographer, currently working towards an MA in Fine Art at Aberystwyth University and living in beautiful North Pembrokeshire, West Wales. 

I am passionate about capturing the essence of people in an authentic way,  just as they are in the moment. Recording and documenting my local community is a particular favourite of mine. I love working in black and white, creating compositions around the contrast between light and dark.

Through every aspect of my life I find myself constantly looking at textures, light and shadow, colours and layers. I follow ideas which challenge my skills and lead me to make discoveries about myself and the world around me. Carrying just my camera, I am free to move around intuitively, experimenting with natural light wherever it may fall and to discover the inherent beauty and structure in the apparently mundane and overlooked in our world.
